When soups like this come out a bit thinner than I like, I have added a bit of instant mashed potato flakes. Just sprinkle them in until you get the thickness you like.

Glad you liked it! I made it last Saturday for supper. I cut the recipe in half this time (but still added the 2 cans of corn). Since I was not making it for a crowd I did not want as much leftover. A half recipe works just as well!
