That looks easy to make. What type of peppers??

Jane Quilter 05-12-2016 08:33 AM

I use the recipe on the side of the Old Bay seasoning can. Grew up in MD and they don't get any better than these! - Computer not being kind so this will look messy. Cut crusts from 2 slices of white bread and cube. 1 lb. crab meat; 2 tablespoons of mayo; tsp of mustard; 1 egg beaten; 2 tsp of old bay. Mix all together either fry in oil or broil. These are delish.

Thanks for the info. Might have to check this out while we are nearby this coming week. Doesn't look like it's too far from where we will be.

Made it to G&M last week. Upon arrival I realized hubs & I had been there before for lunch a year or 2 ago. Their crab cakes are very good. I opted for their crab imperial this time for dinner and was a bit underwhelmed. Essentially 2 of their standard/traditional crab cakes with some odd sauce on top. Not bad tasting but not a traditional MD crab imperial either. Had enough left over for a snack the next evening! I think I like Mo's - near Inner Harbor or Shannon's in Ellicott City better though.

Their crab cake recipe btw is VERY much like the recipe on the Old Bay Seasoning can.

Here is what I do with boneless canned Salmon

Add can of Salmon to a beaten egg.
Add some Bookbinder's lemon flavored bread crumbs
Add some Panko bread crumbs
Add some Old Bay seasoning
Add some Lemon pepper
Add a squirt of Lime
Mix all together & divide into 3 patties.
Fry in a small amount of butter.

And it's what I'm having for dinner tonight, along with some mac & cheese
