I thought I posted this recipe before

16 oz can of red kidney beans, drained
15 1/2 oz can of butter beans, drained
18 oz jar of B & M baked beans (I have also substituted Bush's and they work fine)
1/4 lb Velveeta cheese, cubed
1/2 lb bacon, diced (I partially cook it first)
1/2 cup brown sugar
1/3 cup white sugar
2 dashes Worcestershire sauce(I've used more than 2 dashes)

Combine all ingredients in slow cooker

Cover and put on Low for 6 hours.

DO NOT STIR UNTIL ALMOST READY!

If doubling the recipe, use 1/3lb Velveeta cheese

The beans are in a brown sauce and the cheese is the melty kind. It comes in a brick shape. I'm sure there's a cheese there that is compatable.

If I were headed to England, I'd bring you a can of them, but my trip is to Ireland and Spain.

I make baked beans all the time and this is a good recipe. The B&M beans are in a molasses and sugar type sauce and the cheese is a block of processed "American" cheese, quite soft and easy to melt. You don't really need the cheese and you can substitute other beans, like butter beans and/or lima beans. I have heated the beans in a saucepan on a top burner, in the over and in a slow cooker. All are good.
