Date, walnuts, marshmallows, whip cream?????
 

My Dad use to make this candy that contained the above ingrediants along with roling it into a log then rolled in graham crackers then wrapped in wax paper and put in the refrigerator to chill. Then sliced in small slices. I am sure that I am not including all the ingrediants.

Please post if you have something like this in a date nut log.

We used to make something similar but with colored mini marshmallows. we called them church windows.I can't remember if it had dates and nuts.

This is the recipe I've had for many years. My mom used to make it every holiday, and I've made it since. It is very very good. I have even used 1/2 & 1/2, can't see that it makes much difference..
