Well, I'm not your neighbor, but I did that just the other day ... made them and shared with a neighbor.

Fresh out of the oven they were the best chocolate chip cookies I've ever made or eaten. I only tasted one and put the rest in the freezer. I'm hoping they are soft when cooled and don't turn crispy. Some of them got a little more done than others, though.

I don't think you will be disappointed if you try them.

Made these yesterday - they are as good as everyone says. Shared with sisters and neighbor and got a thumbs up from all. Thanks for posting link.
