Just kidding around with the first picture.
Just in time for Easter and an old family favorite...Bunny Salad! You'll need... Base: Flat & frilly lettuce leaves Bunny bodies: Pear halves Cottontail: Cottage cheese Nose: Maraschino cherries Ears: dried Apricots, cut in half with a half toothpick stuck in the end. Eyes: chocolate chips, currants, or raisins Arrange on salad plates as shown in the picture. A huge hit with children especially! |
CUTE! I will use this with a cool whip tail.

Ha! Ha! very cute!!

Been making these since I was a kid. We usually use pears cut in half for the ears. These are great when you have young kids.
|
I remember these! Thanks for sharing. DGD is coming over today. Wonder if I have the ingredients handy. They'd be cute at lunch.
|
Is that your bunny in the first picture? How did you get it to do that? Enquuiring minds....
|
Hi coopah! No it's somebunny else's. :D I wondered the same thing. They must have waited until their bunny needed a nap. Too cute for words. The image popped up in a search for photos of bunny salad. (It took me awhile to find where I had stored my own photo)
