I forgot to add, if you add onions in uncooked hamburger meat and freeze, it over powers the meat. If onions are cooked in something and froozen seems to be OK. Not strong. Add when you get ready to cook it. I had her do single patties in a baggie, easy to take out, or microwave in baggie.

Chicken Breasts with Rice...
Put chicken breasts in c.pot with Mushroom or Celery Soup and about 1 can of water; salt and pepper. Not too much salt, as the soup has plenty.
Turn to med.high, let cook 3-4 hrs. Check for doneness, and when done, cook rice--for 2-4 children and a large man, I could cook 2 cups. When rice tests done, take from stove, rinse in warm water.
Place a large helping on each plate and pour some of the chicken and mushroom/celery over the rice.
Give them a slice of bread with butter, glass of milk, and carrot sticks and they are happy!
Enjoy.
Mariah.

I got two different Fix-it and Forget it cookbooks at our local Ollies discount store. I think I paid about $3 a book - great deal!

I am a stay-at-home mom of three boys. I use my crock all the time and this is the most simple recipe!

ANY roast (port or beef)
1/2 cup milk mixed with a can of cream of mushroom soup
dash of onion powder OR 1/2 envelope dry onion soup mix
quartered small red potatoes (unpealed but washed)

Layer roast then potatoes in crock then pour seasonings mixed with soup and milk over all. Cook on low for 8-10 hours.

He can make this up before work and it is ready in the evening!

A friend of mine uses a company called Homemade Gourmet.

Officially it is a "get together" type thing. Pay $20-$25, and you get the marinades/sauces for 5 meals.... add meat and put it in your freezer. In the morning or the night before just throw in your fridge. When you get home, just cook and add a veggie. Also, some can be cooked in a crock pot.

She loves it because she has 4 kids and does not like to cook, but is not a fan of processed foods.

BTW, no affiliation.
