What do you girls save for purely Christmas? I make a Ginger Log, my kids love it and it is so easy to make.
You will need
1 packet Gingernut biscuits
1 Tub of double cream
Some Sherryu or some other alcoholic beverage but this goes well with the ginger.
An elongated dish.

Pour the sherry into a bowl
Open biscuits
Whip up the cream till stiff
dip buscuits into the sherry too absorb a little
Now Sandwich the biscuits together with the cream (like buttering bread)
and keep adding all the biscuits untill you have a log
Place in fridge over night
Next day use left over cream and cover the biscuits and decorate as you wish.
Yummy.
ENJOY

OK, you've got us wondering over here in the US - what are gingernut biscuits? They sound good.

I think they are what we call Ginger Snaps here. This sounds delicious. Thanks for the idea

Eleanor Kliven's Christmas truffles that are to die for. They are so "rich" that I only make them once a year or I'd eat a pound at a sitting.
