That sounds really good. I love all things Tex Mex and after all the turkey this would be a good change.

Tsk tsk tsk... but Yum! We make a version of this too, but use tortilla chips on the side of the dish and layer all the wet ingredients. Will have to try yours - thanks for sharing!

Here in Albuquerque, we call this recipe, "frito pie". White onions are used and we leave out the olives.
Usually it's served in a bowl or a large portion on a plate. Just mix the ingredients and pour over the fritos. Yum! I'm going to try your recipe cause it sound delicious with the green onions and olives. Thanks! |
Sounds tasty. I'd definitely add guacamole or avocado. Makes me want a snack right now and it's almost midnight.

Wow. My type or recipe. Great dish and easy to make. It's going on my memu for the weekend. Thanks

You can also cook 1 lb of ground beef, add taco seasoning packet and put in pie dish lined with crescent rolls, then crushed fritos, then the ground beef, cheese, more Frietos and bake for 20 minutes. People come back for 2nds and the receipe. Next time I'm making 2 lbs ground beef in a long pyrex pan. Just pinch the crescent rolls together and lay in the bottom and sides of the pan. Yummy!!!
