Gluten Free Flour Tortillas

I've got a fantastic recipe for gluten free flour tortillas, but I would love to be able to use a press to flatten them. Normally, you can't use a press for flour tortillas because of the gluten, but since these are gluten free id like to press them. The press we have for corn tortillas doesn't flatten the flour ones enough. Any suggestions would be greatly appreciated.

I wish I had your recipe. Can you just use a dough roller like you do pie crust. I know it would take some practice to get the right size.

Go to this website. http://www.artofglutenfreebaking.com...s-gluten-free/
I heard that you couldn't use a tortilla press, but since these are gluten free, I thought I could. So far, all the recipes I've tried on this site are really good.

Can you leave a note for Jeanne on the blog and see if she has a solution? Thanks for the website! Oops - just saw that she used a press also.

Cooks Illustrated tested and rated tortilla presses recently. These were their three recommended models:

1-La Mexicana Tortilladora de Madera Barnizada/Mesquite Tortilla Press

2-Imusa Cast Iron Tortilla Press

3-Norpro Cast Aluminum Tortilla Press

Hope this helps.
