Anyone have any good meat and veggie packet recipes? Something that can be tossed on the BBQ or campfire. No muss, no fuss.

We used to make what my Mom called HoBo dinners when we were kids. It's just a hamberger patty with potatoes, onions and carrots wraped up in a foil packet and grilled on the grill. We also have used chicken in place of the hamburger patty.

yes, we have made those also (also good in the oven at home)

Have fun with the grill packets! I need for hubby to buy more gas for our grill so we can fix these cool dinners.

Cool links! We used to make the burger ones alot when the kids were little, we'd use a burger, onions and potatoes, too, YUM!

Boy, that sounds so easy. I'll give it a try this week-end. Thanks.

We called those hamburger packets with onions, potatoes and carrots Girl Scout Dinners because we used to do them on scout outings. I still make them and still say we are having Girl Scout Dinners to this day. Now, I just use french fries in the packets instead of slicing the potatoes along with raw baby carrots and onion slices.
