This is Hamburger pot pie... ( my grammy made her noodles, but I changed it to bowties... )
brown Hamburger and 1/2 onion then all together 4 cans of beef broth 4 diced potatoes ( like for potato salad ) 1 tablespoon crushed basil pepper & salt... simmer til potatoes are almost done then add 1/2 box of bowties to it til done.. it is more like slop then soup.... boy is it good. |

How much hamburger? Do you cook the bowties first before adding to hamburger mix?

if your in a hurry, you could buy a bag of the frozen potato hash browns. the ones cut in little squares. they work great in a pinch, and less time to cook!
