Made more hand apple pies in the air fryer today, and thought I would post a photo for you all.

He loves these...I make them pretty often ...

Reminds me of my grandmother's fried pies. She made them at least once a week. Now I need to make some!

He has been fond of those apple pies from McDonalds for ages...this is just the homemade and larger version.

What brand is your air fryer. Have often thought of purchasing one.

I have the Nuwave brio, 3.2 quart size, so it is the smaller size. Which fits our kitchen better than one of the larger size. We have no issues with it. I have read that the larger sizes sometimes have chipping of the non stick finish, but maybe that has been resolved. We use our all the time instead of the oven. With just the two of us, I avoid using the oven for small portions if I can.

That looks so good! Not a fan of the apple pie but I would put cherry in mine. Thanks for sharing!

I tried the cherry pie filling, he wasn't a big fan of it. So back to apple. I am thinking peach pie filling might be a nice change too.

Mmmmmmm. I love apple pie. Makes me want to jump up and get some cream puffs I bought yesterday. ��

Did you just make the pie filling and a regular crust and make individual pies? Would you bake it like a regular pie if you do not have an air fryer? Looks wonderful!

Pie crust rolled out to a round or rectangle shape

Canned apple pie filling, probably one third the size of the pie crust shape

Roll up, crimp the edges

Air Fried 360 degrees about 20 minutes , turn over 1/2 way to get both sides done.

I just make a two crust recipe of pie crust, and put in the refrigerator to have handy. I tried the canned biscuits but didn't care for it as well. I get about four pies out of one batch, and I only make one pie at a time.

The filling is just canned apple pie filling. I guess you could make it in the oven like a normal pie if you wanted.
