Hanky Panky Recipe
First things first, yes, this recipe really is called Hanky Panky. Hehe. I got this recipe from my husband's stepmother and it is something I'm now told to bring to get togethers or parties and my quilting friends have asked me to bring it to class this week, so I thought I'd share it.
HANKY PANKY 1 lb ground turkey (do not substitute beef or chicken, it won't taste the same) 1 lb Jimmy Dean regular breakfast sausage (it comes in a tube shape) 1 lb Velveeta (if you want a bit of spice, you can use Mexican Velveeta) 1 bag Tostitos scoops Brown the turkey and sausage and drain off the excess grease. Add the Velveeta (I usually chop mine in cubes) and stir until melted. You can eat it immediately with scoops, or place it in a crock pot on low to keep it warm throughout your party. * NOTE: if you put it in the crock pot, check it from time to time and stir it. You may even have to drop your temp to warm after a while. Oh, and be prepared for all sorts of funny comments and looks when you tell your friends you are bringing some Hanky Panky to a party! |
sounds really good!!

It's very good! It's also good piled on tortilla chips...it makes meaty cheesy nachos.

Sounds yummy! :)

I have made a very similar recipe where I add a can of Ro*Tel tomatoes to the mix. Gives it a little kick!
I also think this would be good spooned over baked potatoes! Yum!! |
Yummie! Luv me sum nachos!

Sounds delicious!! But why won't it taste the same with hamburger or chicken??
