I can't remember if I got the recipe off from this board or
mot but they arae a chocolate chocolate chip cookie and it seems like they had something different in them don'tknow for sure. They are sooooo good and I cannot find my recipe. My husband loves them and I know he is going to be wanting some more once the weather cools later on.

I have one that is not your ordinary chocolate chip recipe. It really surprises people when they bite into them. They are from a bed and breakfast place that put them into a basket with a bottle of wine left in their customer's room for them at night. Called Sweet Dreams.

SWEET DREAM COOKIES

1 Cup Butter
1 ½ Cups Brown sugar
1 Large Egg
1 Teaspoon Vanilla
¼ Cup Sour cream
2 ½ Cups Flour
1 Teaspoon Baking soda
1 Teaspoon Cinnamon
1 Teaspoon Ginger
1 -2 Cups Chocolate chips
1 Cup Nuts (optional)

Cream butter using electric mixer.
Beat in brown sugar, egg, and vanilla.
Combine flour, baking soda, cinnamon, and ginger.
Blend into butter mixture.
Fold in chocolate chips and nuts.
Refrigerate until firm.
Preheat oven to 375.
Make 1 1/2" balls aprox. and roll in powdered sugar.
Place on baking sheet about 2 inches apart, they do spread some.
Bake aprox. 10 min. Under bake if anything, they turn out nicer if they are just barely brown on the edges.
Let cool and transfer to airtight container.

Note.
I most often just bake them after mixing them up and they still turn out very nice.
I use a medium sized scoop and just scoop and drop into the powdered sugar. Keeps my hands cleaner that way.

I'm a scratch baker normally, and once when pressed for time a friend gave me this one .... they ARE delicious and as good as or better than many scratch ones!

~~~~~~~~~~
Instant Cookies
~~~~~~~~~~
Cream together
1/2 cup butter
1 egg
Mix in ..... 1 double chocolate cake mix
Add in ..... 2 tbsp. hot water (or less, depending on consistency)
Mix in ..... 1 package chocolate chips (and yes, I usually add more and walnuts, and/or whatever!)

Drop tablespoon size mounds onto parchment lined cookie sheet and bake at 350F for 8-10 minutes.

I usually call the version above "Brownie Cookies" because of the chocolate and nuts. Lots of combos are possible by switching the cake mixes and add-ins, though the chocolate basic is still my favourite!
* lemon with chopped candied fruit and/or nuts
* white cake mix with ?
* spice with raisins
* other flavours of chipits
* candies

Easiest recipe ever!
