Talk about easy! This has become my favorite recipe for when I don't have much time, need something yummy and it tastes like I've spent more time.
HONEY BAKED CHICKEN 1/2 cup butter (melted) 1 cup honey 1/2 cup mustard (the jar kind, not dry powder) 1 tsp salt 1 tsp curry (this is what makes it have its wow taste) Combine ingredients. Pour over raw chicken breasts (about 4-6 in a baking dish) Bake 350 degrees for 1 hour. (During that hour, you can get a couple of quilt seams sewn!) Sara |
Sounds yummy. I just saved it to my recipes file. Thanks for sharing.

A definate "must try" I love curry, and honey.
I make a curried chicken salad, but it is not a recipe I've ever measured out. |
Moonpi - you need to make a guess on your ingredients next time you make it.
The nurses in ER decided to make a cookbook, because nurses love to cook, (as much as quilters do!). So we compiled a bunch of our favorite recipes, made a book for a fund raiser. It made us laugh that about 75% of the recipes were for sweets, and only a few pages of salads and main dishes! Sara |
Sara,
We just had Honey Baked Chicken and it was delish! My husband even went to the store for the curry seasoning. :D He was ready for a change I think and it was a success. He said it was very tasty! Once I got the rice cooker going I was back at the sewing machine and finished up the BOM I was working on. You were also right about getting more sewing done!!! Thanks! Yvonne |
I've gotta try this one. Sounds good and short prep time.
