Italian Ice
I really like ice pops, but what I love in the summer is lemon italian ice. I like the kind that you get at the supermarket because I like all ice, but really love the italian ice that is sold in NY and I don't know where else. Does anyone know how to make this real italian ice. I don't see it in N.C. and just love it. When something is not sold, I want to make it, because why do without. Yum

I love it too. No help where to get it though. I like it much more than ice-cream! So refreshing.

BJ's warehouse sells Luigi's Lemon Ice. Used to buy it when I lived in North Carolina.

I believe Kroger carries that brand.

The best replacement for lemon ice is the Outshine brand lemon.

Here's a recipe I found online - -

I guess I'm missing something. All the Italian ice have tried tasted like regular sno cone ice to me. I can't pass up Italian Gelato though!

I love both. Homemade is creamy and the kind you buy in stores is icey. (from my experience)

If you make it at home, I'll bet a touch of honey in it would be good.
