Lacy Cookies--need recipe

Does anyone have a recipe for lacy cookies? I had some several years ago and cannot find a recipe that seems similar to those. The cookies were thin, crispy and were"lacy" on edges. Thank you in advance for any recipes. :)

Have you checked allrecipes? They usually have all kinds of cookie recipes.

If they have 'lacey' edges I'd say there were from a cookie mold of some sort.

pizzelles. Hope I spelled it correctly.

Oh, my. Memories of those my mom used to make. Loved the "toffee" flavor and delicacy. I think they were called Florentines.

QuiltnNan, much thanks to you for the web site that included a picture---looks much like the ones I had years ago and I plan to try in the near future.
