My grandmother was a Tupperware dealer in the late 50's, for about 15 years. (yes, I still have a houseful). But I do remember a chicken soup she made for many years after that. And it was good. I contacted Tupperware and they sent me the link to a Chicken Soup recipe, but it has orzo, the little pasta that looks like rice. It's also not made like grandma made it, but the product used now, wasn't even thought of then. I hope it may be close to one you are looking for: http://tupperwareusca.tumblr.com/pos...ressure-cooker

I make this soup in my slow cooker and it is great.
4 boneless skinless chicken breast cut into pieces. 1 onion chopped 4 carrots cut into small slices 2 ribs of celery cut into slices 1 can cream of chicken soup 1 can cream of celery soup 8 cups chicken broth 1 tbsp. poultry seasoning 1 tsp salt 1 tsp tyme black pepper to taste Put chicken in bowel and rub with the seasonings. Put into slow cooker add the veggies on top. Cover with the chicken broth. Cook on high or low depending on how fast you want this done. About an hour before you want to eat add the soup and you can add rice or noodles at this time and cook another hour or until it is done. My family always loves this. |
