Microwave Peanut Brittle
1 cp. of sugar 1/2 cp. white syrup 1-1/2 cps raw peanuts i put this in med sz. glass bowl cook in microwave 7-8 mins. stop on threemins stir, stop again at six mins. and stir, then take out add 1-tsp oleo 1-tsp- vanilla 1 tsp of baking soda, stir well pour on buttered alumi.foil press as thin as you can let cool , then crack and enjoy, i've two batches so far and they are fine :) :-) :D |

I've been making this for years...its a very popular gift :lol: What little bit that makes it out of the house..I have to hide it! Its good with cashews also.

One thing to note if you are trying this-microwaves are different powers so the cooking times may need to be adjusted slightly. Happy Holidays!! |

Loretta i think mine is 700 watt, just try it you may adjust time if needed
Glad you ladies tried it i had this a few years ago my hubby loves it and the kids gave him some raw peanuts thanksgiving so here we go again. Enjoy |
