The most dangerous cake recipe
4 tablespoons flour 4 tablespoons sugar 2 tablespoons cocoa 1 egg 3 tablespoons milk 3 tablespoons oil 3 tablespoons chocolate chips (optional) A small splash of vanilla extract 1 large coffee mug Add dry ingredients to mug, and mix well. Add the egg and mix thoroughly. Pour in the milk and oil and mix well. Add the chocolate chips (if using) and vanilla extract, and mix again. Put your mug in the microwave and cook for 3 minutes at 1000 watts (high).. The cake will rise over the top of the mug, but don't be alarmed! Allow to cool a little, and tip out onto a plate if desired. ! (this can serve 2 if you want to feel slightly more virtuous). And why is this the most dangerous cake recipe in the world? Because now we are all only 5 minutes away from chocolate cake at any time of the day or night! You are going to print this out straight away, aren't you???? |
OK quiltincrazy, I am going to try this and get back to you!

Now, Buy a really pretty coffee cup, add all the dry ingredients to a baggie tied shut with a gorgeous ribbon and place this inside the cup, make a card with the wet ingredients and the rest of the recipe...and you have a wonderful gift.

Miranda, I never took a cake dec. class, but my mom did, several years back, so I played around a bit with it, for kids.
Quilting, cake decorating, bet you draw too? I love to draw, but for some reason, I hardly ever do. Just for appliqueing and for grandbaby. My middle daughter made straight A's in art, all thru high school. Think I have seen a recipe like this one, somewhere before. I really shouldn't eat cake, but thought others might enjoy it. It's a neat idea. :D |
This is a great recipe! I've made it twice so far, hubby and I both like it, and we love that it only takes a couple of minutes.

How funny is that? a diet ad, on the page with a chocolate cake recipe. Who's telling who, what?
