Multi bean soup/caserole

Years and I mean YEARS ago there was a "soup" recipe that had ground beef and almost every can of veggies on the store shelves. Any one know what I'm talking about? I need to eat hight fiber for the next month or so and this just may fit the bill.

My mom used to make a 15 bean soup. She'd add hamburger and onion, tons of broth, and cans of tomatoes, carrots, peas, corn, green/yellow beans, and potatoes. She'd cut all the veggies about the same size. Sometimes she'd use ham or pork hocks. It makes a ton!Boy, I'm going to have to make that soon!!

Stone soup? We used to do this with Scouts, everyone brings a different can of veggies and adds it to the pot.

I make hamburger soup. Just onions, hamburger, stewed tomatoes, carrots, celery, green beans, cabbage and whatever else you want to throw in. I suppose you could add spinch and beans.

Years ago there used to be a recipe called, Working Women's Soup. If I remember right, it took about 8 cans of stuff. I'll try to find the recipe.

I use hamburger or chicken, I soak a bag of beans over night, rinse them well and put them in a big crock pot on high. I add the meat, onions, diced canned tomatoes, and any fresh raw old looking veggies in the fridge like carrots, celery, no potatoes. When the beans start to get soft I add a can of green beans, corn, peas and anything else I have in the pantry that I like.

I make 'dump soup'. Start with beef or chicken broth, chopped onions, celery, lots of garlic, add chopped carrots, frozen or leftover corn, any type of canned beans that you want. You could easily exchange prepared dried beans. Add browned ground beef or chicken, and finish with a jar or can of your favourite pasta sauce.

Remember that bran has a lot of fiber too, so maybe bran muffins should also be on your menu.
