My "dolled up" steak sandwich
Tonight I needed something quick and effortless for some dinner.
I had leftover (planned over) steak and sauteed green peppers and onions and some English muffins. I thinly sliced the steak to cover a muffin, topped that with the onions and peppers, topped that with a couple small slices of Swiss cheese. I then put the steak stack into the microwave until the cheese melted, about 45 seconds. I toasted the English muffin and spread creamy Caesar salad dressing on each half. I used a spatula to move the heated steak stack to the muffin and munched on a great tasting sandwich! The Caesar dressing was the key for me! I'll be making this one again soon. :) Jan in VA |

It is very hot out here in the southwest part of the USA so I am going to make a Caesar salad today.
