My new Nordicware pan

I love the Nordicware speciality cake pans. This is my newest one. Going to sew tomorrow with three good friends at one's home. I'm baking pound cake in this pan today so each will have a just right size cake to take home. It is half price at Amazon now. Perfect for the baked gifts. One bundt cake recipe fills the four sections.

Are these mini sized pans? I also love Nordicware anything as they are so well made and heavy duty. I have one similar to the one on the bottom of your photo but have never used it.

Those are pretty!

Each section of the pan holds 2 1/2 cups of batter. So a nine or ten cup bundt pan recipe. Bakes in half the time then a regular bunt pan . This pan has four of the most popular bundt pan shapes.

Very pretty shapes.

I love the look but have never tried. Are they hard to release from pan without crumbling or breaking apart? I love King Arthur but they are quite spendy. I will look on Amazon.

I use Baker's Spray and never have problem with sticking. A thin spread of butter or shortening then a dusting of flour works too. The spray is easier.

Nordic Ware has wonderful products. I use the bundt pans, baking sheets, loaf pans and other products. The website recommends if you are using a spray to prepare the bundt pan that it is one with flour in it. I just noticed now that this pan is 4 smaller pans in one. DUH moment. Such a cool idea. Where did you pick this one up as I like to make smaller cakes so I can give out to others. I live alone so it would take a couple weeks for me to eat a whole cake.

Just found this pan on Amazon and it says it's for 9 cups. They also have a double bundt pan for 5 cups in case anyone is interested. The quartet pan is a little cheaper at Amazon than at Nordic Ware site.

After reading this thread, I've noticed that there are Nordicware and other cast iron bread pans on some of the online auction sites. If you are shopping for a pan, you might take a look at place like Goodwill, Ebay, etc. You might find a bargain!
