The only problem with freezing unpeeled bananas is that when frozen the skin gets very thin and soft and you have to let the banana defrost a little to get the skin off which sort of defeats the purpose of freezing them in the first place. Just add a couple of ice cubes and you should be fine. :-D

I made cole slaw in the Ninja...a bit too fine for our taste.Just pulsing makes the blades whirl like the devil. :)

My husband has a smoothie nearly every morning with one of my orange/flax bran muffins. Recipe:
1 cup frozen blueberries
1 cup Kefir or you can use low fat yogurt with a couple Tbsp. of milk
1 banana
1 scoop protein powder, vanilla
1 egg, organic, cage free and local

Throw all into a blender and start out slow then increase to high for a few seconds. This makes a very delicious nutritious smoothie.
