I made these cookies and gave a tin to the kind young man who drove me home after losing my car keys. Hee hee. Found them, thank heaven. Kept a tin for family, too and they are a HIT! Thanks for the recipe. Tastes like more. Yeah, I'm still up. Just ate a cookie and had to write! Fa la la la la, la la la, la. zzzzzzzzzzzzz off to bed I go.

It's funny to see you posted what I was looking for! Can't wait to try yours and my old one again! They were real big and soft and yummy just the way we like them! Yeah - my favorites for "health-ier" snacks or a late breakfast on the run. I can justify this because it's not that far removed from sitting down to a bowl of oatmeal (nutrition wise) and it's far faster for those "gotta go" days! Thanks for the great award winning recipe!
