My husband and I recently had some friends over for dinner and we made these for dessert (it's a recipe by Paula Deen), and OMIGOD you absolutely have to try it! It's to the point where they are so flipping good, I told him we simply can't make them ever again (especially if I'm pregnant), because I'd gain like 60 pounds in a single sitting. Delectable and so simple to make!

Ingredients
Crust:
1 1/2 cups graham cracker crumbs
4 tablespoons sugar
1/4 cup (1/2 stick) butter, melted
12 bite-size peanut butter cups

Filling:
2 (8-ounce) packages cream cheese, at room temperature
1 cup sugar
1/4 cup all-purpose flour
1 teaspoon pure vanilla extract or almond extract
2 eggs

Directions:

Preheat oven to 350 degrees F. Place a paper cupcake liner in each cup of a standard muffin pan.

To make crust, in a bowl, combine graham cracker crumbs, sugar and melted butter until crumbs are moistened. Press crust into bottom of each muffin cup. Put 1 peanut butter cup into the center of each crust.

Beat cream cheese with a handheld electric mixer until fluffy. Add sugar, flour, and vanilla, beating well. Add eggs, 1 at a time, beating well after each addition. Spoon cream cheese mixture over peanut butter cups and graham cracker crusts. Bake until just set, about 20 minutes. Allow to cool completely before serving.

this sounds too yummy. I wonder if it would work by substituting a chocolate/caramel for the peanut butter cup. Can we use actual names here or is that a no no?

thanks!

Also, I forgot to add the "gourmet" options... that sent it flying off into awesome: drizzle raspberry and chocolate sauce on it, or in the alternative a little dab of cherry pie filling on top with some cool whip. So freaking incredible!!!

My husband wants to do the turtle kind of thing next time with drizzled chocolate, caramel and nuts. I think that would be awesome and taste bud heaven as well...
