this is a favorite of mine I like to use maple extract.......they melt in the mouth



Ppenuchi
1/2 cup evaporated milk
2 cups brown sugar
2 tablespoons butter or fat
1teasp vanilla
1/8 teas salt
1 cup broken nuts

combine milk and sugar cook slowly, stirring only until sugar is dissolved until 236 degF soft ball add butter cool slightly add other ingredients and beat until creamy, por into greased pan and chill
