I just had to share this. So easy to make and so delicious! Put it in a Christmas tin, and you have a quick and easy gift (or, eat it yourself!) The recipe calls for "peppermint oil," and I substituted real peppermint extract. It worked fine.

Thanks!

I made it for the first time this year. I gave about half of it away. The other half didn't last long, so I'll have to make some more for when my son is here.

I use 2 bags of white chocolate chips melted in microwave, one box (8) smashed candy canes and 1/2 t. peppermint extract. This covers a large cookie sheet and when broken apart will fill 3 or 4 of those little Chinese food take-out boxes that you can get in Christmas patterns. Really a nice "little something" to give at the holidays or as a hostess gift and it takes about 10 minutes to make one batch.

Thank you :D:D:D

The candy canes will flavor your choc. quite well if you don't have the extract/oil. Peppermint is pretty potent!

been wanting to try this recipe and add pieces of pecans, wonder if that would work.
