Oh my goodness! Thank you for all the recipes. They do sound good. Now I have to decide which way to go with making them.

The ground beef, rice, tomatos wrapped up in cabbage rolls are what we called PITB! Grew up in MN (via upstate NY and PA). Sounds good, I will have to make some soon!

Hello, Sometimes I use the pre-made crescent roll dough, or my favorite is a bagel dog, which used to be sold at Costco, but I haven't seen them in years so I tried this recipe:

The recipe is pretty good, but I use a little less yeast and a little less rising time. I'm not a fan of the salt on the outside, but I have tried them with poppy seeds as well.

Hi, change the ground beef to ground pork, and that sounds a lot like the Romanian dish sarmale. I love those with European style sour cream. Do you have a recipe for your beef-filled cabbage rolls?

I just skimmed through the first page of posts so someone may have already posted this.

Most I saw used lil smokies. We always used hot dogs and cresent rolls. Whatever kind of hot dogs you like. I like Oscar Mayer Beef Weiners. You can also use the ones with cheese inside already. I grew up with my mom putting a slit in the side of the hot dog and putting a piece of cheddar cheese in. Roll in a crescent roll and bake. Our favorite sides are baked beans and mac & cheese.
