Pork Loin in Crock Pot

This is soooo gooood and easy! Enjoy!

1 3-4 pound loin or pork roast
I package of dry onion soup mix
1 can of whole berry cranberry sauce
Place meat in pot. Add the soup mix and sauce. Cook 3-4 hours on high or 4-6 on low....
I just sprinkled the soup mix over the meat and spooned the sauce over. No need for any seasoning!

These are the recipes I love....easy and in the crock pot. Since its so hot here I must try this, anything to keep from turning on the oven during this heatwave.

Ive cooked pork loin in the crockpot, but haven't tried it with the cranberry! Thanks for sharing!

janiesews 06-30-2012 05:28 PM

That sounds great. My daughter makes a pulled pork recipe with a pork shoulder roast and 12 oz rootbeer in the slow cooker and salt, pepper and it is amazing. Sometimes we don't even add bar b q sauce when done.

I always cook a pork loin in the crock pot, comes out great, never dry, and makes the best pulled pork ever. For those wanting sweet potatoes too, with couple hourse left to cook, place layer of foil ontop of loin and place sweet potatoes on top and finish cooking. Perfect!

I can't wait to try this, I love the way food cooking makes the hose smell so good, I bet this will for sure!

I love pork loin and cranberry, the thought of trying them in the crock pot with onion soup mix is something I am going to try next weekend! We have a large backyard party coming up in a few weeks, expecting a ton of people, and my DH wants a pulled pork to go with the regular hot dogs and hamburgers we are going to make. Cant wait to try it.

linmid 07-01-2012 05:48 PM

are the sweet potatoes peeled and cubed or what?

Dee 07-01-2012 07:12 PM

Try pork loin with sauerkraut. Yummy!

I also sprinkle garlic and fennel seed on pork. Another yummy!

I have a pork roast in the crockpot with cranberry sauce as we speak. The house smells divine. Can't decide if I should make German potato salad or just slap this stuff on a hoagy roll.

Tried this recipe for dinner last night and it was a big hit. Even my husband, who is very, very picky, ate and ate. I served with Stove Top Pork Stuffing and a baked potato for my picky husband. Everyone really liked it. Thanks for sharing.

Rose_P 07-05-2012 07:47 PM

We liked it, too, and it's definitely going into the permanent file. It would also be a good way to cook chicken or turkey breasts. We used the leftover pork to make pulled pork with BBQ sauce the next day (microwave), and left the bits of cranberry in it. I love good and easy recipes that leave more time for quilting and Internet.

I needed a recipe for a meat dish for our "Christmas in July" family reunion. This one sounds great!!! Especially with the cranberry flavoring for our Christmas dinner!

Tink's Mom 07-07-2012 08:11 AM

Yum! I have a pork roast in the freezer...this will be made on Monday.

pjnesler 07-08-2012 03:34 AM

This was last evenings dinner for us, and it was FANTSTIC! With the terrible heat, this was just the thing, and so easy too!
