Here is a snack for all the quilters you love. Better Homes &Gardens had a simple yeast bread recipe decorated with toppings they call "tiles". I did mine in repeat patterns & called them quilt blocks. This is the lst time I used yeast. Yes I do have a lot of free time! It was October, 2009 I think.

ok. I would love to have the snack pattern but nothing came up on the blog. Can you try to do this again ?

Thanks for the bread recipe link. I have been trying to make different breads lately and this one sounds like fun.

I think I'll try it out on my book club. thanks for the recipe. I'll let you know how it goes.

This one is really easy. We did not like the lime slices. You could make quilt patterns with sliced olives, green, black; fresh herbs, tomatoes, yellow & green zucchini, corn, butternut squash, nuts.
Try putting pureed spinach or squash in one of those squeezy ketchup bottles & you can draw on the dough. Yes , you can play with your food!! |
thank you for the site. God bless. Penny
