I try to go every week until my own square foot, raised bed gardens start producing. The beds are doing really well this year because we've actually had heat in Maine, who knew

Well here in Australia in Queensland, some idiot poisoned all the farms with tomatoes and veges,
So our market prices are going to skyrocket.

Heather, thats awful! How does someone do that????!!!!! How evil! Or was it some horrible accident of some type?
You could always plant a few veggies in some pots if you would like to save some money, I always do my greens in pots, so I dont have to weed much!

What a great idea! I never thought of that. It is hard for me to bend down, so pots would be a great idea!

I go twice a week. My garden is late this year, so I am buying more than usual. ONe vendor has the best strawberry rhubarb pie that I have ever tasted! The crust is heavenly!

We have a fantastic farmers market here. It's great because most of the items being sold is grown within 10 miles of us. A lot of it is within city limits. Fresh strawberries are the county's largest crop.

Our farmers market has just closed. Not a good year. Hardly anyone grew anything this year. Too hot and no rain.
