Brush the melted butter/garlic on AFTER they are baked.
Sometimes I usually omit this on a/c of calories/fat.
Taste before you brush and see.

No, bake them first then brush the melted oleo/garlic on each one.
I use the bagged shredded cheddar cheese

The recipe used to be on the back of the Bisquick box but they took it off.

is oleo the same as butter?

yes. I stated "oleo" cause some folks use butter and some use margarine. Either one is fine.
