Just made these today...really nice and freeze well

3/4 c brown sugar
1/2 c oil
1 egg
1/2c sour milk or buttermilk
1 t vanilla
1 1/2 c flour
1/2 t soda
1/2 t salt
1/2 c nuts
1 c finely chopped rhubbake 400 20-25 minutes

Can anyone tell me if you can freeze rhubarb without chopping it up first. I always pre-chop mine but am not in the mood. Wondering if it will be a bit soggy to cut when it is thawed.

I just finished two big batchs of rhubarb for the freezer. I cut them up and 2 cups and 3 cups per freezer bag, that way when I thaw I won't have to measure again for the recipe. Might be a bit soggy but they're going to get soggy anyway when cooked. We have one of those sucky bag machines and works out great to freeze things.
