Salad spinner

Two things that take up a lot of space in the cupboard but worth it. 1. Salad spinner removes a lot of water from washed lettuce. I think lettuce tastes better & I know it lasts longer after it’s been spun out. 2. Rubbermaid produce saver elevates contents off bottom so cut up melon or pineapple doesn’t sit in the juice. Keeps fruit fresher.

I love my salad spinner for salad greens but also for spinning hand washed fabric scraps.

I bought my salad spinner for washing the 5 inch squares I buy in charm packs. I don't buy them very often but I have to wash them or the chemicals destroy my finger tips. I really couldn't tell any difference with the actual salad so I keep the spinner in my sewing room. The first one I bought I gave to my daughter because it did take up a lot of room in the kitchen and she wanted one. Then I needed to wash a charm pack and it was so much easier using the spinner than doing it all my hand.

O my gosh, what a great idea! I've been washing and drying mine in my lingerie mesh bag.. and then spending way too long separating and ironing them.
I just love you guys! I have learned so much from you!
THANKS!!

I use mine for spinning excess water out of pasta.

I am a big salad eater so I use my spinner a couple times a week. Chasing Hawk, I like the pasta idea...I’ll have to give it a try next time I make a macaroni salad or noodle dish.

I use mine for salad and to spin out access water from knitted/crocheted wool scarves so they dry faster.
