a side for your salad
 

quick and super easy side salad for your salad plate,
one bag of frozen baby peas
grated sharp chees, about 2 oz.
either slivered almonds, or water chestnuts cut in small slivers
ranch dressing

put frozen peas in a bowl, add cheese WC or almonds, and enough ranch dressing to coat lightly, that is it, no cooking just add the 4 things in a bowl and serve with ice cream scoop or spoon, as a side on your salad plate. enjoy!

Eons ago my mother used to serve us this...canned peas, cubed processed cheese, and miracle whip with a sprinkle of sugar. Your recipe sounds much better!
