This is SO EASY - I tried it out this morning and got the DH Seal of Approval!!
Maple Nut Ring

1 10 oz package refrigerated biscuits
1/4 c. maple syrup
1/3 c. finely chopped nuts
2 T. Brown sugar
2 T. sugar
1 t. cinnamon.

mix sugars, nuts, and cinnamon in a small bowl. Put syrup in another small bowl. Dip individual biscuits in syrup (coat completely) and then coat in nut mixture. Arrange in ring in microwafe safe baking dish. Sprinkle any leftover syrup and nuts over top. Microwave at Medium High 7-9 minutes, rotating dish 1/4 turn every 2 minutes.

I used Grands, pecans, pancake syrup, and nuked it at full setting for 7 minutes. Use spoons when you are dipping them in the syrup and the nuts.

OMG! My granddaughters and I used to make this back in the 1990s... we called it Monkey Bread. They just loved coming home from school to find we were going to have Monkey Bread for snack time. Gee, maybe the next time the girls come visit me with their little ones I'll surprise them with Monkey Bread. So glad you posted this one – you just turned on a floodgate of wonderful memories!
