Love Sweet Baby Ray's sauce so this dish should be yummy!

Suze9395 03-23-2013 07:41 PM

I am gonna try this tomorrow! Thank you, I'm always looking for easy tasty things to make.

Yooper32 03-24-2013 04:24 AM

Me too, it is my alltime favorite barbeque sauce. Crockpot, here I come.

Pete 03-24-2013 09:08 AM

Thanks so much for the recipe. Our oven caught fire last night so this will be a good dinner for us today.

Brandi 03-24-2013 09:45 AM

Are you talking about barbeque sauce? This sounds great and I use Sweet Baby Rays barbeque sauce all the time. Nothing else.

Definitely will try this. Sweet Baby Ray's is our very favorite!!

Karen1956 03-25-2013 02:53 AM

I highly recommend you use crockpot liners before fixing this! It will save a ton of work when cleaning the crock pot. Whoever invented those things, should be canonized.

Yooper32 03-25-2013 05:47 AM

Have tried many, gone back to Sweet Baby Ray and no more to toss.

Geri B 03-25-2013 06:25 AM

sounds good, but I will eliminate the red pepper, cannot stand anything spicy....why do people think it has to burn your mouth out in order to be good..........sure it will be tasty and easy to make...thanks

JanieH 03-25-2013 06:41 AM

This sounds really good. Some crockpot recipes involve so much preparation - I like something I can just "throw" in. I can't wait to try this one!

SMR 03-25-2013 10:12 AM

Does any flavor of Sweet Baby Ray sauce work and does it make any difference if you use bone-in or boneless chicken breasts?

Does it make any difference what flavor of sauce you use and do you use boneless or bone-in chicken breasts?

It's a matter of preference. What burns your mouth may not burn someone else's mouth. And just because you add red pepper flakes does not make it spicey.

nannyrick 03-25-2013 10:42 AM

Thanks for the recipe. Definitely will try this.

sustraley 03-25-2013 12:19 PM

OMG-That looks amazing. Will need to try this week.

solstice3 03-25-2013 12:44 PM

Mmmmmmm sounds good and EASY!

dhanke 03-25-2013 01:34 PM

Sounds delish, my version is really simple, just sauce, onions and frozen boneless skinless thighs. I'll try your recipe, it would add some depth of flavor.

mjhaess 03-25-2013 02:08 PM

Thanks...sounds good..

KimmerB 03-25-2013 03:10 PM

I made this yesterday, used frozen chicken legs (cause that's what I had in the freezer) and Famous Dave's BBQ sauce (my favorite), vinegar, pepper flakes. It worked out very well. Will make again. Never thought to use frozen meat before. Thank you

ragqueen03 03-29-2013 02:38 AM

i am going to have to try this. i ususally use sweet baby ray's but my all time favorite bbq sauce is Charlie Staple's. he has a restaurant in youngstown ohio and some of the local stores carry his bottled bbq sauce. Haven't been to his restaurant yet but want to try it - some DAY i will go - won't go there at night because of the location- from what i hear not the best part of town at night.

SoBuzy 03-31-2013 02:41 PM

L I bet you could use KC MP in this recipe as well!

winter012 04-08-2013 08:02 AM

This sounds really YUMMY, although I would omit the crushed red pepper. Despite having lived on the Texas/old Mexico international border for much of my life, I've never acquired the taste for HOT, spicy foods. Sweet Baby Ray's BBQ Sauce is a very well flavored one, and needs no augmentation!! Thanks for the recipe! Love my Crock Pot....

adamae 04-30-2013 12:11 PM

Love Sweet Baby Ray's BBQ sauce....one of my children likes it one likes one more vinegary and smoky. Usually, youngest son, Will , smokes the ribs & chicken with his own dry rub and then we apply our own sauce, if any. There is no substitute to match this for our family. But, when I cook for myself this recipe would be ideal with quality leftovers. Thanks.

KimmieH 05-02-2013 07:33 AM

quick & easy! thanks........always looking for more crockpot ides = more time to sew!

KimmieH 05-07-2013 08:21 AM

its crockin right now!!! but now that i actually look at recipe LOL i see i forgot garlic....

The Babe 05-19-2013 02:50 PM

Has anyone tried this recipe using pork chops rather than chicken? My husband does not like chicken. He said that is all he had to eat growing up and he has eaten enough to last a lifetime. LOL

suern3 05-19-2013 02:55 PM

Sounds delicious! Love a new crock-pot recipe, thanks.

missmay 08-14-2013 06:00 AM

Have family visiting for a few weeks and have run out of dinner ideas so this recipe comes in handy. I like Sweet Rays too, like a sweeter sauce. Will use chicken breast, legs, thighs or pork chops, whatever is on sale this week.

GrammieJan 08-15-2013 09:24 PM

This sounds easy enough. I may try it Saturday, but with a different BBQ sauce. Sweet Baby Ray's is too sweet, for me. I like a Smokey sauce myself.

lizzies home 09-18-2013 02:17 PM

I fix this but with a little bit of a difference...instead of vinegar I use pineapple juice. adds an extra layer of yummm

goldsberry921 09-18-2013 04:29 PM

OHHHH this looks yummy!!!!

Nanny's dollface 09-18-2013 05:01 PM
