Sweet Baby Ray's Crockpot Chicken: 4-6 chicken breasts 1 bottle of Sweet Baby Ray's sauce 1/4 c vinegar 1 tsp red pepper flakes, 1/4 c brown sugar, 1 tsp garlic powder. Mix everything but chicken. Place chicken in crockpot (frozen is ok). Pour sauce mixture over chicken. Cook on low 4-6 hours |
Love Sweet Baby Ray's sauce so this dish should be yummy!
I am gonna try this tomorrow! Thank you, I'm always looking for easy tasty things to make.
Me too, it is my alltime favorite barbeque sauce. Crockpot, here I come.
Thanks so much for the recipe. Our oven caught fire last night so this will be a good dinner for us today.
Are you talking about barbeque sauce? This sounds great and I use Sweet Baby Rays barbeque sauce all the time. Nothing else.
i love kc masterpiece b b q sauce. tried the sweet baby rays. and didn't like it. as well as kc . try it you'll like it...i m o. its the best .
Definitely will try this. Sweet Baby Ray's is our very favorite!!
I highly recommend you use crockpot liners before fixing this! It will save a ton of work when cleaning the crock pot. Whoever invented those things, should be canonized.
Have tried many, gone back to Sweet Baby Ray and no more to toss.
sounds good, but I will eliminate the red pepper, cannot stand anything spicy....why do people think it has to burn your mouth out in order to be good..........sure it will be tasty and easy to make...thanks
This sounds really good. Some crockpot recipes involve so much preparation - I like something I can just "throw" in. I can't wait to try this one!
Does any flavor of Sweet Baby Ray sauce work and does it make any difference if you use bone-in or boneless chicken breasts?

Thanks for the recipe. Definitely will try this.
OMG-That looks amazing. Will need to try this week.
Mmmmmmm sounds good and EASY!
Sounds delish, my version is really simple, just sauce, onions and frozen boneless skinless thighs. I'll try your recipe, it would add some depth of flavor.
Thanks...sounds good..
I made this yesterday, used frozen chicken legs (cause that's what I had in the freezer) and Famous Dave's BBQ sauce (my favorite), vinegar, pepper flakes. It worked out very well. Will make again. Never thought to use frozen meat before. Thank you
i am going to have to try this. i ususally use sweet baby ray's but my all time favorite bbq sauce is Charlie Staple's. he has a restaurant in youngstown ohio and some of the local stores carry his bottled bbq sauce. Haven't been to his restaurant yet but want to try it - some DAY i will go - won't go there at night because of the location- from what i hear not the best part of town at night.
L I bet you could use KC MP in this recipe as well!
This sounds really YUMMY, although I would omit the crushed red pepper. Despite having lived on the Texas/old Mexico international border for much of my life, I've never acquired the taste for HOT, spicy foods. Sweet Baby Ray's BBQ Sauce is a very well flavored one, and needs no augmentation!! Thanks for the recipe! Love my Crock Pot....
Love Sweet Baby Ray's BBQ sauce....one of my children likes it one likes one more vinegary and smoky. Usually, youngest son, Will , smokes the ribs & chicken with his own dry rub and then we apply our own sauce, if any. There is no substitute to match this for our family. But, when I cook for myself this recipe would be ideal with quality leftovers. Thanks.
quick & easy! thanks........always looking for more crockpot ides = more time to sew!
its crockin right now!!! but now that i actually look at recipe LOL i see i forgot garlic....
Has anyone tried this recipe using pork chops rather than chicken? My husband does not like chicken. He said that is all he had to eat growing up and he has eaten enough to last a lifetime. LOL
Sounds delicious! Love a new crock-pot recipe, thanks.
Have family visiting for a few weeks and have run out of dinner ideas so this recipe comes in handy. I like Sweet Rays too, like a sweeter sauce. Will use chicken breast, legs, thighs or pork chops, whatever is on sale this week.
This sounds easy enough. I may try it Saturday, but with a different BBQ sauce. Sweet Baby Ray's is too sweet, for me. I like a Smokey sauce myself.
I fix this but with a little bit of a difference...instead of vinegar I use pineapple juice. adds an extra layer of yummm
OHHHH this looks yummy!!!!
This sounds yummy!
Thanks for posting this. I saw it somewhere but by the time I got every thing I lost the recipe.
