Traveling Spoon Online Cooking Classes

I wasn't sure where to put this post, so I hope it is in the correct forum. :)

The Traveling Spoon is an organization that connects travelers with private dinner hosts. The host cooks a regional, home-cooked meal for their guests and the guest gets to meet a true local in the comfort of their home. There are TS hosts all over the world.

A couple of years ago, the DH and I went to India and we had the pleasure of having a private dinner with a Traveling Spoon host in New Delhi. It was one of the highlights of our trip. I went to the TS site today, because I'm planning another trip, this time to France. Again, I found an interesting host to have dinner with in Paris, so I signed up.

Since the pandemic hit, The Traveling Spoon now offers online classes. Hosts from all corners of the world are giving online classes on how to make anything from Chicago style, Deep Dish Pizza (USA,) to Fresh Sicilian Pasta (Italy,) to Coconut Rice and Stew (India.) There's a lot of classes to choose from. I have not tried any of these classes yet, but I might It sounds like fun and it can take you to another part of the world when you are still stuck at home due to Covid.

I don't have anything to do with the Traveling Spoon. I just think that they are really cool and enjoyed my experience with them, so I thought I'd pass the info on.

The "Lebanese Mezze" class looks really interesting. I don't know much about Lebanese food. I might try this class.

Here is one quoted review that made me think of how this would be helpful during the pandemic:

Amy 10 January 2021
"This was great way for 15 of us in 7 different bubbles, 2 countries, 3 time zones to interact and share an experience. Not everyone had the same skill level in terms of cooking, so the results varied but we all had fun and a delicious product at the end. Tania ( the culinary guide) and her mom ( the actual cook) were a team. It was a perfect way to engage with loved ones during this pandemic."
