I've been having a crazing for these various appetizers...I think its because I really didn't go anywhere over the holidays and didn't have all the snacks I'm used to having so now my stomach's like "Where are the snacks?!!!".

The only appetizer that I don't know how to make are these ham wrapped pickles. I know they consist of sliced ham, cream cheese, and dill pickles...I don't know if there's any other ingrediants involved. Its driving me crazy...

First of all, does anyone have a clue what I'm talking about and, if you do, do you know how to make them?

I have always made these with sweet pickles rather than dill. Use the tiny little pickles. After rolling them you can slice into pieces. Yum! :)

I use pickled asparagus in mine & can't keep the plate filled when they're served. For DD I leave them in a roll, but for company I cut roll into 3 pieces. Yummy!

Put cream cheese on the slice of deli ham then place dill pickle spear on it and roll. I cut it in bite size pieces. Enjoy. Very simple.

I made these last weekend..........never heard of them before this post. I softened the cream cheese and added garlic powder. They were good, but I didn't get many after one of my grandsons arrived. He ate most of them, so I guess this will become a staple to my snack tray.

Flying V:
Our family has made these appitizers for years. We mix a bit of horseradish and garlic in the cream cheese before spreading it on the ham slice. My DH and I make HOT dill pickles using Jalapeno peppers in the pickles when we make them so those are the pickles we like best in this recipe but for the faint of heart eaters, I make them with regular dill pickles. They are all wonderful and very easy and can be made up and if kept refrigerated will keep just fine for a few days.
