Got this recipe from a friend and it is a crowd pleaser.

1 lbs. ground chuck or lean ground beef
1 pdg. (16 oz.) processed cheese (she said to use Velveeta)
1 jar of your favorite salsa
Your favorite nacho chips
Olive oil to coat pan

Note: I add pepperjack and cheeddar shredded sometimes to this but it wasn't in the original recipe from my friend.

Brown ground chuck, or lean ground beef. Drain fat from pan if desired. Slice cheese into 1" slices and place on top of meat. Add salsa. Stir to blend. When cheese melts it's ready to serve. This can be put into a crock-pot on low heat to keep warm. Serve with your favorite nacho chips. You will get rave reviews on this simple dish.

I make something similar but add a can of Rotel to give it a little kick!

I, too, make this recipe with Rotel. It's a family favorite.
