World’s Best Cookie???
Has anyone hear tried this recipe? I have seen it online but would be interested to hear from those that have made it.
It is literally called the World’s Best Cookie recipe. It originated in San Francisco. |
can you add a link to it?

Is that the recipe that uses a grated chocolate bar and oat flour? I've made them but add my own goodies in the mix. It varies depending on the items in the pantry.

I have my own favourites at different times so I don’t see how one cookie can be better then others.

The recipe is courtesy of the caterer, but they give credit to the San Francisco ala Carte, a cookbook by the Junior League of San Francisco, 1979. |
So how about everyone post their own World's Best????
After all, we all need more winning cookie recipes! :) |
I've used a recipe very similar to this one. But when I add the oatmeal, I also add raisins, chocolate chips, chopped nuts, coconut, butterscotch chips and cinnamon. Whatever is available. The cinnamon really makes a difference. Sometimes the whole mixture is so thick with goodies, it's hard to find the cookie! It makes a LOT of cookies.
