Yes, the pulled pork recipe please! And does anyone have the recipe for the really thin vinegary sauce (like Big Bob Gibson's and Whitt's Bar-B-Que has)?

Whoa! Didnt think Id have anyone interested, lol.....

I just do my pork shoulder in the oven, but atm I have an electric oven which does better in a humid climate, a gas oven should be fine up north, or dryer climate. Ceramic slow cookers do well too, where they hold the heat in better vs other type slow cookers.

Ill be doing a pork shoulder in a week or so, and Ill put together the recipe and how-to with photos. alot of it is getting a good cut/shoulder, and 6-12_ish hours at 300-325F, and the prep and patience, and temperature.

Never said I was good at spelling or grammar.

thx,
shane

I put a pork butt in my crockpot (usually frozen) and pour a can of root beer, Dr. Pepper, pepsi, or whatever cola I have on hand over it. Cover and put it on low, usually overnight. In the morning I easily shred the meat, add some of the broth to it, and whatever bbq sauce I have on hand. Friends are always asking me to make it, and it freezes well.
