Yummy ribs
I have a REALLY easy recipe for ribs that we love. I buy back ribs, cut them into about 6inch pieces, put them in my crock pot and pour my favorite BBQ sauce over them and cook on low for about 7 hrs. You could cook them on high for about 4 hours. They are awesome and fall right off the bone.

I love simple ... and all the better, when it is the crockpot! :D
Great for quilting days. Do you not find that they are swimming in fat/grease when you do not pre-cook to get it out? |
I always cook my ribs in the crock pot but I prefer pork boneless country cut ribs. Yum. Now I want barbecue ribs.

I make this dish often but I'm careful to remove as much fat first as possible otherwise it's too greasy. I also add chunks of carrots - seems to get even sweeter!!

I tried just putting in the crock pot with barbeque sauce and I didn't like all the fat that mixed with the sauce, so I brown them first, then crock pot for about 6 hours, dump out the grease and then add the sauce to the crock pot and leave for another hour... I suppose it depends on how fatty your ribs are on how you want to do it.
