Oh my, I use my peeler many times a week for all sorts of things. This sounds delicious. I will get the oven going. Lots of apples in Michigan right now.

Will take to quilting class for mid-morning snack. Thanks!!

Yummy! Sometimes I even use apple butter for part of the oil. I will definitely be making this and using some apple butter I canned this summer. Thanks for sharing!

Thank You. My husband has been asking for an apple pie but I think I will suprise him with this. He can buy a apple pie at Sam's club.

Thanks for sharing can't wait to make.

Your recipe sounds great. I know this is silly, but I wonder how many calories would be in a normal slice? I have been counting everything due to losing some weight to help my diabetes, and some other medical problems.

I had to laugh at this; mine has never seen the light of day and at this moment I couldn't even tell you where it is in the house. |
I got an apple peeler from Amazon recently and love it. It works SO well even though it looks like a toy. It's called a Starfrit apple peeler.
