Yesterday, my DH came home with a gallon of 99% Rubbing Alcohol. I couldn't believe it! He found it at our little, local, "bread & milk," store, of all places. A lot of people around here are into herbalism and use alcohol to make tinctures, so I'm guessing that's why they had it in stock. Anyway, my hubby got a big thank you kiss from me.

I have lots of aloe plants. Is there a way to combine alcohol & aloe to make hand sanitizer?

I bet there is. I would google it and see what comes up. A lot of homemade recipes have aloe in them. I've never used aloe from plants though. I bought a bottle of it. I don't know how they process it or if they do.
