Default Clobber topping

Clobber topping
I take about 2 cups of Bisquick in a mixer bowl
DO NOT MAKE A DOUGH!!!

ADD WHILE MIXING:
2 tbs oil
About 1/2 cup sugar
About 2 tbs milk
DO NOT MAKE A DOUGH!!!
Your liquid will make tiny balls--- this is what you want
Just sprinkle these tiny balls over your filling and bake

Cut 1 stick real butter into a packet (envelope) of Betty Crocker Oatmeal cookie mix until coarse crumbs. Can add 1 or more teaspoons cinnamon. Use as topping for cobbler.

I find that recipes that have some butter in them give a good result. However, I've never had a crisp that stayed crisp for long. I think it is the nature of the beast. Sometimes it gets eaten the day it's made.
