5 MINUTE CHOCOLATE COFFEE MUG CAKE!!

4 tablespoons flour
4 tablespoons sugar
2 tablespoons cocoa
1 egg
3 tablespoons milk
3 tablespoons oil
3 tablespoons chocolate chips (optional)
A small splash of vanilla essence
1 large coffee mug

Add dry ingredients to your largest mug and mix well. Add the egg and mix thoroughly. Pour in the milk and oil and mix well. Add the chocolate chips (if using), vanilla essence , then mix again.

Put your mug in the microwave and cook for 3 minutes at 1000 watts (high).
The cake will rise over the top of the mug, but don't be alarmed!

Allow to cool a little, and tip out onto a plate if desired.

EAT! (this can serve 2 if you want to feel slightly more virtuous).

And why is this the most dangerous cake recipe in the world?

Because now you are only 5 minutes away from chocolate cake at any time of the day or night!

Have you ever tried to halve the recipe? I think this would be tons of fun to do with my day care kiddos. But the full recipe sounds like too much cake for one :) I think it would be a lot of fun I'd they didn't have to share lol.

I printed this out when it first hit the internet, my son makes it all the time. He loves to make it when friends are over.
We do use Egg Beaters and a video I saw on You Tube suggested slightly less than a whole egg, so we use 2 TBL of Egg Beaters.

Thanks for the recipe--aren't you supposed to be studying??? If you make this cake on a large scale, can we all stop by for some?
