do you take it out of the plastic before wrapping in in AF? I can never keep celery.. thanks

Thanks for the tip, Corky ! I haven't heard of this before ...

Also, just the other day I saw a tip online - if you put a metal FORK in the container or bag with a head of lettuce (also the pre-bagged kind) it keeps much longer ... ?? Has anyone heard of this or tried it ?

Thanks, and thanks Sparkys_mom - never thought of freezing it! We lovr the green bags!!! Keeps lettuce, carrots, etc fresh forever!

Works really great to put left over cut onion in tin foil also. Keeps it fresh. I will surely try putting the celery in TF. Thanks for the tip.

I wrap celery in alfoil but haven't tried it with lettuce. I am going to try this as I get cranky about throwing lettuce out.

You can also make your cucumbers last longer doing this very same thing!! Don't peel, just wrap with AF!

I wrap lettuce in newspaper and celery in foil. both work great.
